Don Lawrence is a Jamaican-born architect, based in Oslo, Norway. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from The Cooper Union in New York City and a Master in Architecture from the Arkitektur- og Designhøgskolen in Oslo, Norway. Prior to establishing the firm, Don gained an extensive range of experience in design at various scales at several firms on both sides of the Atlantic, including Snøhetta among others.

Don discovered architecture at an early age through combining his love of hand-drawing and his curiosity for the natural sciences as a young boy in Jamaica. He has always been a dreamer and enjoys nothing better than crafting thoughtful architectural solutions.

As a project architect, Don is in his element working with his team to bring ideas from the drawing board to reality. He delights in the process of architecture, and the creative, collaborative exchange with clients and building consultants.

Away from the studio, Don enjoys ice-bathing in the Oslo fjords in the winters (albeit in close proximity of a hot sauna) or being a beekeeper tending to his hive in the summertime.
